Questionare

Hello! It’s Gracie here. Maggie and I came together and wrote ten questions each, creating this fun little questionnaire! Here’s my answers, but you can find Maggie’s at theraremissionary.blogger.com

1. As a summer missionary, what was your third most stressful day?  It was probably a camp day. Camp can be SUPER fun! But, with it being on week ten and all the craziness involved it can get quite stressful!
2. What is your favorite movie?  It depends on what I’m feeling. I love Into the Wild, Moulin Rouge, Beginners, and The Perks of Being a Wallflower. I’m also a fan of pretty much anything Ewan McGregor is in, he’s a fabulous actor!
3. If you could create a season of American Horror Story, what would it be called?  American Horror Story: Summer Camp. No? Okay…
4. What was your favorite part about the summer?  Whenever a student accepts Christ makes every bad thing worth it. I’d go through my worst day this summer a thousand times to get that moment. Also, I got to talk about missions a couple times and it was exciting!!
5. Do you have any guilty pleasures?  Carly Rae Jepsen.
 6. Secret talents? Do you have any?  To some people my nail art can be described as a secret talent. I used to paint nails a whole lot, but I got extremely burned out on it. You can some pictures on my Instagram. (@theraremissionary)
7. You’re at the zoo. What are you most excited to see?  You can catch me tearing up at the sloths. They’re amazing, and also extremely relatable.
8. Any embarrassing moments?  I once used the word “reverent” instead of relevant and I’ll never forget that.
9. Could you name three fictional characters most like Maggie?  Maggie is both Andy and April from Parks & Rec. You’ll have so much fun around her, but she can also be introverted and, well, April-like? I’d also have to call her a John Watson (I’m thinking BBC). She’s got a heart of gold and if she cares about you, she’s always willing to help. Maggie’s a loyal person and she also possesses John’s sarcasm and wit.
10. Favorite super hero?  I ADORE Sara Lance’s Black Canary and Daredevil!
11. What was one of the biggest struggles you faced as a summer missionary?  My age is a big factor when it comes to struggles as a summer missionary. I made “The Sixteen Year Old Missionary,” during my first round. But, no matter what you push past the negativity. 1 Timothy 4:12, folks!
12. Favorite season of American Horror Story?  Definitely Asylum!
13. What strength do you bring to the group as a summer missionary?  If I buy a tea that’s too big you can have half? But seriously, I like to think that I do what I’m asked *sometimes*. You want me to teach the kindergarten class? Cool. You need this bag in the van? Alright.
14. Hardest decision you’ve ever had to make?  Rocky road or cookie dough. That ice cream arrangement at Hannibal LaGrange U is LIFE.
15. What is one of your favorite bands? Why? What are three of your favorite songs by them?  I’m really into the Violent Femmes. They have such a distinct sound. I don’t know of anyone else who can match Gordon’s voice, and have a song for every mood. Happy? Sad? Angry? Check out Rejoice and Be Happy, Nothing Worth Living For, and Kiss Off!!
16. If you could choose any country over-seas to live in, which one would it be?  I have two, and both are because my great and great-great grandfathers lived there. Sao Miguel in The Azores would be awesome, but I’d also like to visit mainland Portugal. Then there’s the village where my mom’s great grandfather is from in Italy.
17. What website do you visit the most?  Definitely Facebook!
18. Favorite book? This is hard. I really like On the Road. I also have a tattoo from that book… so you’d assume that I’d put that. I also liked the book that the Freedom Writers movie is based on!
19. Favorite Spongebob episode?  Bubble Buddy or the Krusty Krab Pizza one. They’re pure classics.
20. Play MASH and post the results  After playing MASH with the extraordinarily evil Maggie, my results were that I’d live in an apartment with Mr. Bean and my four kids. I would also drive an Impala, so I guess that’s fine hahah.
